Ninja Assassin

A secret society of ninja assassins travel Europe killing important people with swords, stars and retractable blades

Ninja Assassin is final proof that the once innovative Wachowski Brothers (The Matrix) have indeed lost their creative mojo. Acting as producers here, they deliver the story of a secret society of ninja assassins who travel Europe, mainly Berlin (where the film was shot), killing important people with swords, stars and retractable blades. Needlessly gory, painfully predictable — a renegade assassin called Raizo (played by the Korean pop star Rain) must battle his cruel overlords — it will appeal only to the most uninformed and impressionable action junkies.
