No 197A Howth Road is the second home in a new two-house development to come to market.
The developer Ballyfarna Construction bought the site at No 197 for €550,000 in August 2015. Designed by Tyler Owens Architects, the two buildings are prominent on the strip, and are near the Castle Avenue junction at Clontarf. The first sold for €805,000 in November, six months after coming to market.
There’s more of a showhouse feel to No 197A. The three-storey four-bedroom house has been kitted out with furniture and has an impressive array of grey fitted units.

Homes on Kilbride Road in Killester don’t come on the market often. The last sale recorded was in 2015, when No 18 went for €315,000.
