A SERIES of projects by Sir Basil Spence, who designed high rise flats that dominated Glasgow in the 1960s, are to be revealed for the first time. Drawings of an airport in Baghdad and a row of houses on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh are included in a book of his work. They have been gifted to The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland by Spence’s children.
