A GIRL aged four was found safe last night after a three-day hunt that began when a passer-by reported seeing a child being put into the boot of a car at a Sainsbury’s car park in Swansea. Police had appealed for help from the public yesterday after it emerged the car involved was listed as having no owner. Two men were arrested on suspicion of child cruelty.
Dead for six weeks
A WEALTHY author is believed to have lain dead for up to six weeks after he was murdered with a blow to the head at his home in north London. Allan Chappelow, 86, was discovered when police broke down the door.

A WOMAN aged 23 was stabbed to death and another aged 20 was seriously injured in an attack at a house in Blackburn yesterday. Police were hunting a man in his mid-twenties.
