A WOMAN from Southlink, west Belfast, has died after being involved in a hit-and-run crash in west Belfast. Another woman suffered serious head and leg injuries in the incident outside the Whitefort Inn on the Andersonstown Road. Police have named the dead woman as Anne Marie Dinneen, 37.

INDEPENDENT NEWS & Media is seeking up to 100 redundancies at the Belfast Telegraph group. It is understood that the group received a flood of applications for the generous redundancy package. The offer is also available to staff at the Sunday Life and the Community Telegraph papers. INM said the staff review was “in line with what is taking place within the newspaper/media industry”.
