A 43-year-old haulage company owner is being held at Navan over an alleged drugs distribution network. He is one of five arrested. Three others have already been charged.
Dead man found in park
Gardai in Navan are investigating the suspicious death of a man in his 40s whose body was found in his home at Parnell Park in the town by his brother-in-law.
Four children missing

Gardai from Ardee, Co Louth, are searching for four children who have gone missing. The four are Chloe Eaton, 12, Jessica Eaton, 10, five-year-old Jon Eaton and Megan Eaton, who is one.
They were taken from their home at Tullykeel last Thursday. Gardai believe they may be travelling in the company of a 30-year-old British man who is not their father, and possibly a woman with two other children. Detectives also think that the group may be travelling in a silver Opel Zafira. Anyone with information should contact their local garda station.
