National Treasure: Book of Secrets the Sunday Times review

Something we didn't learn about Nicolas Cage's daredevil historian in 2004's National Treasure was that an ancestor of his performed a heroic deed at the end of the American civil war. A bad guy (Ed Harris) now wants to discredit this luminary, and the only way Cage can fight back is by going on an action-packed treasure hunt in which clues are to be found at historical sites (including Buckingham Palace). It's bearable stuff, but such a carbon copy of the previous film that it's hardly worth bothering with if you've seen the original.
