Recently, N-Dubz’s Dappy Contoslavos noted that “anyone between the age of 11 and 26... has our music on their phones”. Claims that once seemed far-fetched may become a reality with this second album. With songs about being “off my face” (I Don’t Wanna go to Sleep) and using Facebook to locate a girlfriend (I Need You), the Camden trio are clearly tuned into their public. And while the rest of us may draw little spiritual succour from, say, Suck Yourself, only the cloth-eared would deny their way with a nagging hook.
