Nicola Horlick, the City “superwoman” who now heads the boutique finance firm Bramdean Asset Management, is on the move. Earlier this year, she sold the townhouse in South Kensington, west London, she shared with her former husband, Tim Horlick, for about £6.5m. It was here that she once outwitted an armed mugger. Last year, she married Martin Baker, a financial journalist, and the pair are now preparing to move. “We’re moving west, where we can get more space,” says Horlick, 46. “We have a lot of children to accommodate my five and my husband’s three. We don’t always have all of them at the same time, but we want to make sure each has their own bed.”
