With a growing stack of winnings under his belt, Andy Murray, the British tennis ace, has bought a house in London. A spokesman declined to give the location, but the 20-year-old, now ranked eighth in the world, was believed to have been torn between a snazzy modern Thames-side flat and a sensible house in Wimbledon. I'm told Murray, ruled out of this year's competition through injury, had £3m to spend.
