Morton Fraser recently acted for the multinational beverage and alcohol giant Diageo, providing all legal advice in connection with the transformation of the former House of Fraser building on Princes Street, Edinburgh into Johnnie Walker Princes Street, a global visitor attraction that opened in September.

This was the highest-profile property development project in Edinburgh in 2021, involving one of the city’s most iconic and historic buildings. The attraction, on seven floors, is expected to create up to 180 new jobs and generate about £135 million a year in tourism spending.

It also acted for Police Scotland in the dismissal of more then 7,200 claims for equal pay, and age or sex discrimination.
