This firm specialises in cases before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (the “supreme court” for sports-related disputes). In the past 12 months clients have been represented in more than 20 sports, including boxing, cricket, cycling, equestrian sports, football, rugby, swimming and tennis. The firm is well-known for its expertise in anti-doping disputes. Over the past decade, Morgan Sports Law has acted in most of the highest-profile anti-doping disputes — including acting for Tyson Fury, Maria Sharapova, Chris Froome, Conor Benn, Dillian Whyte, Mamadou Sakho and Dayana Yastremska.

MSL was instructed by Conor Benn, a professional boxer, in proceedings against the World Boxing Council and UK Anti-Doping arising out of two alleged positive tests. On February 22, 2023, the WBC cleared Benn of any wrongdoing, such that no sanction was imposed on him, and he was able to immediately return to the WBC world rankings. The UK Anti-Doping proceedings are continuing.
