Also out this week is Moog, a messily structured documentary. Robert Moog is the inventor of the Moog synthesizer, and one of the most important people in electronic music.

The film is at its best when it shows archive footage reminiscent of the BBC’s spoof science programme, Look Around You. Interviews with Moog pioneers such as Rick Wakeman and Parliament/Funkadelic’s Bernie Worrell are also entertaining.
