MICHELLE MONE, the Scots lingerie queen, wants Julia Roberts to portray her on screen.

Mone, 43, has been approached by Hollywood producers about a biopic charting her rise as co-founder of the Ultimo lingerie brand to one of Britain’s most successful entrepreneurs. In an interview to promote a book charting her “fight to the top”, Mone said she had received a call from a producer. When asked who she would like to play her, she responded: “My favourite actress of all time is Julia Roberts.”

Whether Roberts would take on the role is another matter. The Ultimo brand became a household name after Mone, who started the business with her ex-husband Michael, claimed the star wore her cleavage-enhancing bra in Erin Brockovich.

This month, however, Jeffrey Kurland, 62, the movie’s costume designer, insisted Roberts’s bra was from a Los Angeles boutique. “How can anyone take credit for something they didn’t do?” he reportedly said.

Sources close to Mone insisted Ultimo samples were provided on the set and were worn by Roberts.

Mone, tipped to replace Duncan Bannatyne on the BBC series Dragons’ Den, said writing her book was “like a year of therapy” after she decided to “expose everything”.
