Sir, I can report that of the 132 cards my mother received on her recent 100th birthday there were 57 different designs printed with “100th Birthday Greetings” (letters, September 7 and 15). Moreover, a local shop stocks a considerable range of 100th birthday balloons, serviettes, badges, etc.
