Sir, My daughter and her six fellow female crew members were towed away from some rocks off the Isle of Skye last night when their anchor dragged. Hamish, the lifeboatman put aboard to supervise the tow, was then informed by lifeboat tannoy that he was himself at risk as there were “too many women aboard” and he must return as soon as possible.
This was a severe disappointment, I gather, to all concerned.
