Make the perfect screenplay

Write for the Big Screen and win a trip to the Cannes Film Festival

Tickets for this event are £12 or £5 concession. To buy go to offersinthetimes.com/filmschool

If you’ve dreamed of writing a screenplay The Times is giving you the chance to pitch your brilliant idea to a panel of industry experts. To enter, we asked for a ten-word and 200-word pitch. The three best entries will be chosen by writers from The Times; Alex O’Connell, Tim Teeman and Chief Film Critic James Christopher. This shortlist will then present their screenplay on February 21, to a panel at a Times’ Film School event.

The winner and a guest, as judged by the panel and audience, will spend a day at the Cannes Film Festival and attend the annual Times’ lunch with key industry figures.

Entries closed on Monday, February 11, 2008
