Palihawadana also recently concluded a case at Harrow crown court where the firm represented a Thai woman who was accused of conspiracy to supply class A drugs. She was vulnerable and claimed that she had been exploited by a co-defendant. She was acquitted by unanimous jury verdict after an eight-week trial.
