Robert Frank Owen, QC, has been appointed a circuit judge, assigned to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Civil Justice Centre with effect from Wednesday October 7, 2009.

Robert Frank Owen, QC, 56, was called to the Bar (I) in 1977 and took silk in 1996. He was appointed as an assistant recorder in 1998 and as a recorder in 2000.
