Anthony Dennis Watson, QC, has been appointed a circuit judge, assigned to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Crown Court, with effect from July 9, 2012. Judge Watson, 48, was called to the Bar (I) in 1985 and took silk in 2009. He was appointed as a recorder in 2002.
