Kick the tyres of our new website

Driving.co.uk has had an overhaul, with added features designed to help and entertain car buyers
The website’s lifestyle search
The website’s lifestyle search

SINCE its launch, Driving.co.uk has helped thousands of readers find their next car. Dedicated to all things motoring, The Sunday Times’s motoring website is free to use and packed with information, pictures and videos. Our top columnists are there, including Jeremy Clarkson and Dom Joly, and our expert writers. Along with reviews of the latest models, you’ll find tips on buying cars second-hand, as well as detailed guides on getting the best financing deals, insurance, warranties and servicing.

We’ve listened to your comments and given the site a spring clean, adding easier ways of searching, a new design and more vehicles to choose from. It will make finding your next car even easier, whether you’re the sort of driver who breaks out in a sweat at the thought of opening a bonnet or one who reads Haynes manuals for fun.

Next month we will add the option to buy new cars. Soon after that, we’ll bring in the ability to receive a valuation for your own car and then advertise it on the website — again, free of charge. And a My Garage option will allow you to save shortlisted vehicles in one place and compare them against one another, as well as store a search query for specific types of car. Come and see what you are missing.

Lifestyle search

Traditional car-buying sites ask you to specify the make and model of car that you are looking for before presenting you with a list of search results.

That is an option on Driving.co.uk, but it’s useful only if you know exactly what vehicle you want to buy and have discounted all the alternatives.

What about the millions who don’t know their Ford Kuga from their SsangYong Korando?

That’s where our lifestyle search comes in. Let us know whether you need a stylish two-seater or a budget estate for your family and dogs and we’ll create for you a tailored list of cars that will suit your needs best.

Commercial

He may suffer from an unfair reputation on the road, but white-van man is welcome on Driving.co.uk, where there’s a dedicated commercial section.
