The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Lord Petre (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex) at the Memorial Service for the Lord Braybrooke (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex), which was held at St Mary’s Church, Saffron Walden, Essex, this afternoon.

The Duke of York was represented by Colonel Roger Burgess.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by the Right Reverend and Rt Hon the Lord Williams of Oystermouth.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended a Service at St Protus and St Hyacinth Church, Blisland, and were received by Major Charles Edward-Collins (Deputy Lieutenant of Cornwall).

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Tregunnel Hill, Newquay, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended a Reception at Tregunnel Hill for Her Royal Highness’s Cornish charities.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, afterwards visited the new Headquarters of Cornwall Air Ambulance in Newquay to mark the Trust’s Thirtieth Anniversary and was received by Mrs Ellen Winser (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon attended a Reception at the International Maritime Museum, Hamburg, Germany, to mark the United Kingdom-Germany Year of Science.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge subsequently visited the Airbus production facility in Hamburg.

Sir David Manning, Mr Miguel Head, Mrs Rebecca Priestley and Mr Jason Knauf were in attendance.

Princess Alexandra this afternoon opened the new theatre and ward development at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthoaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Oswestry, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Sir Algernon Heber-Percy).
