This Beckenham-based firm, which specialises in the resolution of divorces, has featured in several high-profile cases this year.

It acted for a Russian banker who received £20 million during his marriage but whose disclosed assets on divorce totalled about £10 million, including resources held in an offshore trust, properties and bank accounts. There were questions about the completeness of his disclosure and, given the level of assets and the fact that much of the wealth was overseas, the case was heard at the Financial Remedies Unit at the Central Family Court.

The firm also advised a wife whose husband had generated assets of £5 million during their marriage. At the point of separation the wife’s father died and she stood to inherit tens of millions of pounds. The court considered the impact of the wife’s inheritance and whether it would be fair for her to leave the marriage without a share of the matrimonial assets. At a private financial dispute resolution hearing it was agreed that the wife would receive a significant share of them, in addition to her inheritance.
