The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Sir David Brewer KG (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Lord Imbert (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London) which was held in the Church of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, this morning.

The Princess Royal was represented by Lady Carew Pole.

The Duke of Kent was represented by Mr Nicholas Marden.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Pasquale Terracciano at 4 Grosvenor Square, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Italian Republic to the Court of St James’s.

By command of Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps afterwards called upon His Excellency Dr Peter Ammon at 22 Belgrave Square, London SW1, in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Federal Republic of Germany to the Court of St James’s.
