A Muslim extremist accused of saying that terrorism victims would burn in hell has been working as a classroom assistant, it is claimed.
Imran Miah, 27, an Islamic State sympathiser, allegedly used social media to call for homosexuals to be thrown head-first from high buildings and pelted with stones.
He has been registered as a teaching assistant with Enlighten Supply Pool Limited, The Mail on Sunday reported. Anwara Begum, his mother, said that he had worked at many schools. However, a spokesman for the agency said that he was on their books but had not received any assignments.
Mr Miah, from Manor Park, east London, who uses a pseudonym on social media, is alleged to have taunted victims’ families after 86 people were killed by a terrorist in Nice on Bastille Day a year ago: “Our dead are in Jannah [paradise] while yours are in Fire.”
Protesting on Facebook that homosexuality was being taught, he allegedly wrote: “These schools are breeding factories . . . of future gay rights activists.”

The Department for Education said: “Schools have a legal duty to carry out an enhanced disclosure and barring check on new teachers, and are required to carry out robust pre-appointment checks.”
