COMMON: Has the late esteemed James Anthony Roche been airbrushed out of history? Was he not the last to make an incursion into the mother of parliaments, about 1970, when he threw a canister of CS gas (liberally applied to the streets of nationalist areas of Northern Ireland but banned in mainland Britain) down the hallowed floor. His ringing injunction, “See how ye like that, ye bastards,” never made it to the pages of Hansard.
