FILM
The Sentinel
Alexander Stevenson 32; William Stevenson, 21 Alexander: “I really liked it. It’s a really good action film in which the good guys win in the end.” William: “I was highly disappointed. There was potential for a great story with the fantastic subject matter of the secret service. But they managed to mess it up with a half-a***d plot and crass dialogue.”
THEATRE
The Cyclops
Michael Hewitt, 12 “I really liked the show. The big puppet was fantastic. The way that it was moved around by all the people made it look real. The best bit was when they made the cyclops sink into the earth. It was scary in bits, but mostly very funny.”
The Scoop, Queen’s Walk, SE1 (www.morelondon.co.uk/thescoop), until Thurs
EXHIBITION
Pierre Huyghe
Emma Stansfield, 27 “The puppetry was very good, but the stuff with the children dressed as animals was a bit spooky. Huyghe’s work is very surreal and has more than a touch of David Lynch about it. But if you just take it all as an experience, you’ll enjoy it.”
Tate Modern, Bankside, SE1 (www.tate.org.uk 020-7887 8888), until Sept 17
