Hear the stories

READERS have a special opportunity this April to hear the six stories shortlisted for this year’s £30,000 Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award being read by some outstanding actors.

Taking place at Foyles in London’s Charing Cross Road from 6.30pm on April 22 and April 23, the events will feature, among others, Simon Callow and Eleanor Bron, Downton Abbey’s Lesley Nicol and MyAnna Buring, and Gary Dourdan from CSI. Tickets cost £8 each and can be booked via Times+ at mytimesplus.co.uk/storyawards, or from March 9 at www.foyles.co.uk/events.
