Eden Hazard has admitted that he will consider an offer from Real Madrid and said that he has not yet started talks about extending his contract at Chelsea, which has three years to run.
The forward said that he watched Real lift the Champions League trophy yesterday and joked that he thought about where he might fit into the Spanish team — concluding that he would only make the substitutes’ bench.
“I feel good at Chelsea, but you never know what’s happeningEden Hazard
Hazard said that winning Europe’s top prize was his next ambition after twice winning the Premier League at Chelsea. The Belgian signed a contract worth £200,000 a week in 2015, making him Chelsea’s top earner, but the club have still been keen to tie him down to new deal. Madrid have a long-held interest in Hazard and he admitted that it would be difficult to ignore an offer.
“Of course I will look at that,” Hazard said. “Honestly, I do not know what will happen to me. I only know that I spent three years under contract with Chelsea and that we had a great season last year with the coach and the players. We want to go on with the Champions League next year.
“We had a great season together with Antonio [Conte] and other players. We want to go further, including in the Champions League. I feel good at Chelsea, but you never know what’s happening.”

Real beat Juventus 4-1 to retain the Champions League in Cardiff last night, with Hazard and his Belgium team-mates watching the final before their friendly against Czech Republic tomorrow.
“It would be best for me to sit on the bench,” Hazard joked when asked of his possible position in Madrid.
“But of course I also want to win trophies. The Champions League would be beautiful. But that’s also a goal for Chelsea. I have not met the [Chelsea] management yet. First I have two more matches with Belgium. Those are the most important now. Then a month’s holiday. And honestly, I want to think about football as little as possible.”
