Client demand took HCR’s corporate team to one of the top spots in the UK for the number of deals done in the first half of the year, according to Experian’s M&A review. It recently advised Poundland on its purchase of the frozen goods retailer Fultons Foods, which will create about 1,000 jobs over two years.

The firm’s strong private client team is flourishing. It rose to the challenge of supporting vulnerable clients through lockdowns by adopting socially distanced and outdoor consultations and will-signings, along with the option of virtual meetings and electronic documentation.
