Revenues rose by 23 per cent to £59.2 million at this fee-sharing law firm, which attracted more than 150 new staff over the past year. The business also established a legal technology arm and moved into the US and central and eastern European markets.

The firm has a 30,000-strong client base and supports businesses including Google, DHL, John Lewis, Lidl, Asos and Santander. It has advised on a range of corporate and commercial cases and deals, including registering several high-profile charities, advising leading clients in the crypto and blockchain sector and acting on significant disputes, real estate deals, employment tribunal cases and mergers and acquisitions.

The firm is acting for the actor Hugh Grant over allegations against News Group of phone hacking and privacy breaches, which the company denies.

It is advising Google in connection with a £920 million competition claim filed against it at the Competition Appeal Tribunal.
