Allow me to offer a dose of reality. Far from being on a mission to “bring America to its knees”, I recently took the step of meeting with the US Consul to express my concern for her country’s reputation in Scotland, which has been further damaged by the recent Prestwick bomb flights scandal.
This dialogue typifies the Greens’ constructive approach to politics in Holyrood. As for the idea that we will suddenly decide to throw our lot in with Sheridan, I can assure Hjul that we will stand on our own record and under our own banner this year, next year, and long into the future.
