Greenberg Traurig, which was founded in Florida in 1967, has grown to 2,643 attorneys in 47 locations on three continents. Its London office, which opened in 2009, has more than 135 lawyers advising UK and multinational clients across many sectors.

Its litigation practice is working with the Swedish Pensions Agency, on behalf of the kingdom of Sweden, to assist in recovering €115 million of pension savers’ savings misappropriated in one of the largest, most systematic attacks on the Swedish pension system.

The firm advised BlackRock and the British Airways Pension Fund on the latter’s joint venture with a sovereign wealth fund to create Tribeca King’s Cross, a £1 billion global life sciences development in the Knowledge Quarter of London.

The corporate team represented Cartesian Growth Corporation on its business link-up with Alvarium Investments and Tiedemann Group, with the combined company given a post-transaction equity value of $1.4 billion.
