London’s Great Eastern Hotel is to become a Hyatt Regency hotel from the end of the year.
The 267-room hotel, adjacent to Liverpool Street railway station, is currently owned by Conran Holdings and Blackstone Group and operated by Wyndham Hotels. The hotel will be jointly acquired by Hyatt Coropration and private equity firm JER Partners and the deal is expected to be completed in March.
It is anticipated that Conran Holdings will continue to provide advisory services on all restaurant and private dining operations following the acquisition. The hotel houses the restaurants Aurora, Miyabi and Terminus and the pub George.
