East coast rail firm GNER is offering free wi-fi to standard class passengers until the end of July. Standard class passengers normally have to pay between £2.95 and £9.95 to use the service but the company is promoting the service, which is currently available on 28 trains in the GNER fleet, with a one-off 24 hour free session.
To use the service, start your browser which will automatically detect the GNER landing page. Then just click on the gotrywifi promotion link and type in gotrywifi to get online.
Wireless access is already free of charge for first class passengers.
