The royal family deem it a school fit for princes but its wealthy west London neighbours view the pupils as a chaotic mob producing an “obnoxious cacophony”.
Wetherby School, which costs £6,865 a term and will soon welcome Prince George, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle, is accused of making Notting Hill “uninhabitable”.
Neighbours criticised the “garish” blue playground, in which they claimed a horde of screaming children behaved intolerably.
In a letter to Kensington and Chelsea council, residents of Pembridge Square claimed that “various missiles” during break time made their gardens no-go areas and that children made “nuisance levels of noise”.
Nine netballs and a hula hoop were said to have landed in neighbouring plots over the past few weeks and there were complaints about a leaf blower.

The locals were labelled “churlish” by parents, who claimed that the children went out to play for only ten minutes during break.
The school has been ordered by the council to apply for retrospective planning permission for its blue playground. If it is not granted it will have to dig up and resurface its playground.
A school spokesman said: “We have been consulting locally and are pleased to engage with our neighbours about any concerns they may have.”
