Kenneth Cox, of Glendoick Gardens in Perthshire will be giving a talk and leading a walk around the gardens at Caerhays Castle, near St Austell, Cornwall tomorrow, 9.30am to 1pm. The theme is 100 Years On: George Forrest’s Plant Legacy. Forrest, a famous planthunter, was sponsored on a trip to China in 1911 by JC Williams, a former owner of Caerhays and his legacy remains in the plants still growing in the castle grounds.
