Gaelic dog has his say

BBC Scotland viewers are to be introduced to an unemployed, lovesick Scot named Colin and a cigar-chomping, talking dog called Cumberland in a TV cartoon series aimed at tempting them to learn how to speak Gaelic.

The characters will speak mainly English, with the occasional Gaelic word slipped into each episode. The first episode will be broadcast after River City at 8.25pm on March 1.
