Farrah Fawcett

Fawcett’s haircut itself was the cut that everyone desired for a whole decade: the quintessential blonde glamour-flick. Now, her face looks like plastic and her hair looks like nylon. They both seem tired. Her hair has had so many treatments, it looks like a wig.

Hair changes as we get older — the texture, the bounce, the shine — and, sadly, Fawcett has not accommodated this in her look. Whatever has gone on in her life, she now seems totally oblivious to how she appears to the world.

Hair Bitch’s friend, Mark Smith, of John Frieda Salon, says: “It’s too layered, too overtreated. She looks as if she needs a cuddle. It’s all-over beige — the magnolia of hair colour.

“She needs to have chunky, blonder highlights and lowlights, so it can regain the look of real, instead of synthetic, hair. Her curled locks are better, and although her hair is in bad condition, her jaw is too wide to go too short.”

If only Fawcett took a bit more care, her hair — and her own condition — would improve immeasurably.
