Sir, There is mounting discontent among passengers regarding the deteriorating levels of service provided by First Capital Connect on its Bedford to Brighton service this winter, and which surely must result in appropriate action being taken by the Government in reviewing the company’s current franchise, just as it did with Great Western.
In the meantime, I make a plea to all train operating companies who fail to run trains to published timetables. Your trains are not delayed; it’s your passengers who are delayed. Your trains are late.
