The couple run their own design and marketing company, Navigate Design, in Petersfield, Hampshire, and have two daughters — Poppy, three, and Lulu, nine months. Gammon said: ‘The dividends from our company are paid into the account, so it is essential that we get a decent return on our cash.’
The Egg account pays 5.5%, including a six-month bonus of 0.75 points, and is guaranteed to at least match the base rate until December 2007.
