Faith in parliament

Sean Rose: I’m a 21-year-old Catholic from London. I am working with Pritpal at the Nishkam Civic Association in Birmingham where the welcome has been wonderful. As a cradle Catholic, my faith was always the lens through which I learnt about the world. But as a teenager I became involved in the renewal movements of the Church and this moulded my religion into something that I try to live by. My inspiration comes from the witness and example of the great social actors of the Church, from St Francis of Assisi to Dorothy Day. So I am particularly keen to participate in one of the big themes of the Parliament: ‘Overcoming poverty in an unequal world’.
