Eos to launch services to Dubai

All business carrier adds daily service to emirate from the summer and a fifth New York service - to Newark - from May.

All business airline Eos, which operates regular flights from Stansted to New York JFK, is to launch daily services to Dubai from July.

Jack Williams, Eos’ president and CEO, said: “Our community includes many guests and investors from the Gulf region who feel that Dubai and Eos are a perfect fit. UAE consumers appreciate products and services of the highest quality and we’ve created a travel experience that authentically reflects their lifestyle, an extension of the way they want to live while flying.”

The airline also says it will start to fly to a second New York airport, with the launch of daily services to New York Newark on 5 May.

The launches will put further pressure on its rival Silverjet, which flies from Luton to both New York Newark and Dubai. The airline has sought to reassure investors that its business model is sound following the demise of Maxjet just before Christmas. Silverjet says it is still on track to become profitable next month.
