Its recent work includes securing a £3.75 million settlement for a road traffic collision victim who sustained a brain injury, enabling him to continue to pursue his passion for travel, with the right support in place.

The clinical negligence team assisted in the settlement of a case arising from the failure to transfer a woman to an appropriate hospital during the birth of her child, resulting in brain damage to the baby, which caused significant learning and behavioural difficulties. The firm secured a settlement of more than £6.6 million plus annual payments for life totalling approximately £24.3 million.

The team also settled a £28.5 million claim for a client with cerebral palsy, caused by untreated low blood sugar when she was a baby. As well as obtaining early interim payments for costs and damages, Enable Law’s mental capacity team have been managing the client’s damages.
