British Touring Car Championship 2005 Review, Duke, £19.99

No-holds-barred racing is guaranteed, with drivers and their machines performing right on the edge throughout the season, but 2005 was a particularly emotional one for Matt Neal. After years of near-misses, he was finally crowned champion after scoring points in every race — a fabulous achievement that is a tribute to his driving skills and to the Honda he drove.

He won the first two races of the season at Donington Park, and, as this package reveals, spent the rest of the year involved in a series of heart-stopping duels as he attempted to keep his rivals, most notably Yvan Muller, at bay.

Neal had already shown that he had what it took, winning at Brands Hatch as an independent in 2003, but it is abundantly clear just how much this championship meant to him.

Soon he and his rivals will be doing it all over again; in the meantime, this serves as a handy taster of what we can look forward to

Running time: 3hr
