Don't panic

Q I have transferred my digital photos to CD. Is there any way I can view them on my television?

Michael Drew, Cambridgeshire

A One interesting option is the CD Photostore from www.tinyurl.com/69cmj. This clever battery-powered box is a portable CD recorder and DVD player with a seven-in-one memory-card slot, from which you can copy photos directly to CD from the camera’s memory card — no computer required. You can also plug the box into your television and run slide shows of photos stored on CD. It’s not cheap at £180, but it is versatile. Alternatively, if you have the right software, you can make a VCD CD disk of photos, which will play on most home DVD players.
