Did you adopt a rescue dog? Tell us your stories

Andrew Cotter, the Sunday Times dog columnist, is devoting this month’s column to the joys (and trials) of rescue dogs and we’d like to hear your stories.

Send us an email explaining why you chose to adopt. Where did you get your dog from and how did they adjust to their new home? Was it easy? Was it a nightmare? Did it all end happily ever after?

Submissions should be no longer than 300 words and must be accompanied by a high-quality photograph of your dog (and you if you like). Please send them before midday on Wednesday November 10. We aim to publish a selection of entries in a forthcoming edition.

Email your story, including the name and age of your dog, to readers@sunday-times.co.uk
