Headquartered in Glasgow, the personal injury and medical negligence specialist has offices across Scotland. It works with claimants in areas such as work-related accidents, asbestos and industrial diseases, clinical injuries and historical abuse.

Activities this year have included acting for seven individuals who were affected by the Stonehaven rail crash of August 2020, when an Aberdeen-bound Abellio ScotRail train derailed after hitting landslide debris. The firm also represented an abuse victim known only as AB in his case against the English Province of the Congregation of Christian Brothers. A sheriff awarded £1.4 million to AB, who had been abused by three monks while a pupil at St Ninian’s boarding school in Fife in the 1980s.

In addition, Digby Brown acted for a widow who was awarded £1.3 million this summer after her RAF veteran husband was killed in a collision with a Perth & Kinross council bin lorry on a country road in 2018.
