Will Coleen turn up?

Coleen McLoughlin is to star in her own TV show. ITV is reported to be planning to pay Wayne Rooney’s fiancée £1.5 million to front a Saturday-night show based on her unique fashion and lifestyle insights. And why not? This is the woman who could complete a PhD on the weave of a velour tracksuit or enter Mastermind with her specialist subject, the history and geometry of the Pucci wellington boot.

So as the news of her TV debut was announced, what did our new sultana of style choose to wear? Trousers (pictured above) so long and wide you couldn’t spot a toe, a shoe or even a whiff of a Chloé stacked heel from underneath.
