Dark Crystal (4.00 Musselburgh) has plenty in her favour and rates a fair bet at 9-2 with Betfred to follow up her recent success at Ayr.
She won in tidy fashion there and the handicapper looks to have been generous in raising her just 4lb.
A strong early gallop is important if she is to repeat that form, particularly now that she drops in trip, but she should get that with Circuitous, Ralphy Boy and Sophisticated Heir all liking to force the pace.
Her high draw would not be ideal usually over seven furlongs here, but given that she will be dropped out early on it should not inconvenience her too much. With Jack Garritty, who claims a handy 3lb, taking over in the saddle, she can see off the well treated Just Paul.
